Meet The Banecrawler! My first monster that I've ever 3D modeled for Creature Design. This monster a boss type enemy on a side quest the player must facewhile hunting down nephilim and defeating darkness. He actualy started out as a drawing some time ago. But this time I decided to bring him to live with a few minor tweaks. It is named based on the actual term "Bane", which relates to terms like ruin, death, destruction, trouble, etc. Also because he well, he crawls. More like slither but I figured Banecrawler sounded better.

The lore behind this monster is that it's actually a Nephilim like the other four, and that it roams around in a particular area called the Banesect forest. Terrorizing travelers and eating their prey, for those who are unfortunate enough to run into it. It's massive size allows it to move with power and destroy any living and non-living thing in its path. There are also five Banecrawlers. Technically brothers. This one is the scorpion tail type. There are five different ones based on their skin patterns and their different end tails. They eat through their legs on their face by the way. Yeah...it's freaky. Anyway, I had a blast making him!
